IHCC helps entrepreneurs start, manage and grow their companies and is one of the largest, most active and most innovative groups promoting Hispanic entrepreneurship in the country. Kelley is passionate about the intersection of education and entrepreneurship, as well as the advancement of educational and professional opportunities for every individual. Through her many roles at IHCC, Kelley has had the great honor of developing the Center for Hispanic Entrepreneurship’s youth entrepreneurship program as well as programming for small business owners and entrepreneurs.
In her current position, Kelley is responsible external relations with corporate partners, members and community leaders, executing corporate partnerships and overseeing IHCC membership activities. Kelley is an experienced business consultant and project manager, successfully leading several critical IHCC initiatives, including the USDOT Entrepreneurial Women’s Internship program and the Construction Coaching for Growth program.
Kelley is a native of the Southside of Chicago and a graduate of the University of Illinois at UrbanaChampaign where she studied Spanish and Business Administration with a concentration in International Business. During college she studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain and interned with IHCC, advancing to lead IHCC’s event management team, maximizing outcomes while cutting and controlling costs. Kelley has since participated in two continuing education certificate programs with the University of Notre Dame, focusing on nonprofit growth leadership and Hispanic chamber sustainability and growth.
She currently lives in the south suburbs with her husband, Steven and their dogchild
